We hold current Heavy Vehicle (damage, additional benefits and road risk), Light Vehicles, Public Liability, Products Liability, Hired in Plant and WorkCover insurance. What are the different types of cranes and what are they used for?We have a wide variety of cranes for hire to suit most projects. Crawler Cranes - these cranes use tracks instead of wheels and are used on jobs with soft or uneven terrain Rough Terrain Cranes - these cranes come with rubber tyres and are 4 wheel drive. They are best used on jobs with rough terrain. Truck Mounted Cranes (including Franna cranes) - these cranes can travel on our roads and are mainly used for loading and moving equipment. Telescopic Cranes - these cranes have a hydraulic cylinder for changing the length of the boom. They are highly adaptable for a variety of mobile situations. At Associated Rigging, our staff are fully qualified and hold a multitude of high risk work licences as well as other building and construction certificates. They are highly skilled, trained and experienced to ensure the job is done right the first time. Staff include Riggers & Dogman, Lift Supervisors, Spotters and Crane Operators.
